About Belinda

Belinda Biafore was recently appointed Marion County Circuit Clerk by Judge David Janes and Judge Pat Wilson. When appointed to the office, she brought with her a distinguished, respected career and 40 years of experience in budgets and records, economic development, grant writing, management and investing. 

Belinda’s 40 years of knowledge and experience makes her a hard worker and a great leader for the Office of the Circuit Clerk and the people of Marion County. 

Born and raised in Marion County, Belinda was taught and still upholds strong family values. Belinda, her sister Dana, and her brother Jeff were raised by her mother Margon and taught the value of strong community and family values. Belinda’s entire life has been woven in Marion County. As a child she attended Mrs. Jones Kindergarten and public schools before graduating from Fairmont Senior High School and Fairmont State College. 

Belinda has two nieces, Ashley and Sarah. Ashley and Sarah are the lights of Belinda’s life. Recently the family grew with Ashley marrying Brian Rush and their cat Siggy. Belinda also has two shih tzu puppies, Bo and Gigi.

Belinda Biafore most recently worked as the Economic and Community Development Assistant Director and Grant Coordinator for the Marion County Commission. 

Prior to that she worked for 25 years for an Oil and Gas company doing a variety of jobs from research to office management.  She serves on many boards and is a member of various community organizations. 

Born and raised in Marion County she is a graduate of Fairmont State University. 

She enjoys helping people and continues her commitment to fight for a better quality of life for hard working West Virginians across the state. Belinda stays committed to volunteer and community efforts to help the people of Marion County. She has worked her entire life for the people of Marion County and will continue to do so as Marion County Circuit Clerk.
